Facebook of the Death

There is a nice blog called “What if?”. Every tuesday, a hypothetical question is answered on the blog. I check the blog if I find the time during the week, and there was a nice post some weeks ago. It had the title “Facebook of the Death” and tried to answer the question when Facebook will contain more profiles of dead people than of living ones. Considering different factors, the blog’s author is talking about 10 to 20 million Facebook users who died since they made a profile. Other sources say that every minute, three Facebook users in the world die. Blog


As Facebook grows, these are questions that pop up. It will be interesting how the company manages problems like this in the future and if we believe the blog, Facebook will be a cemetery in 2060 or 2130.
